You want to know about my AMO experience?!

I will tell you about my AMO experience…

It was a mind-opening; out-of-this-world; the most-fun-I-have-ever-had type of experience! Let me walk you through it.

From day one as I arrived at the OBGYN clinic that works mostly with infertility, I met Dr. B., this amazing and inspirational doctor, who was by my the entire time. Every consult he gave, every exam he did, I was always with him. He took his time to discuss every case with me, asked me questions to make me think and participate, showed me everything he could, and answered all of my questions thoroughly.

Dr. F, another wonderful and sweet doctor, took his time giving me private lectures on topics I was very interested in and that were unclear to me beforehand.

The doctors gave me dozens of articles they have collected over the years to read and study from. They also gave me an option to select from three very interesting projects to work on while I was there. The one I picked was very useful for my future practice.

The whole staff was so nice and helpful to me; every single person went out of his way to make me feel welcomed and to educate me in their field.

I made some amazing friendships along the way. I even met another AMO student who rotated in the same clinic last year. We spent a lot of our free time together in New York, and now we are very good friends.

At the end, Dr. B. had to leave for a pre-planned vacation. AMO was so kind and reacted quickly to place me with another doctor—Dr. E—for the last couple of days. I learned a lot rotating with her as well!

This was my first time visiting the United States. I have never been so far away before. I traveled alone and, to be honest, I was a little scared in the beginning, but everybody I met here made my whole stay the best time in my life!

Thank you, AMO! For everything; for allowing me to experience this. I will never forget it. It got me so inspired to become an OBGYN. What an awesome way to start my career.

Keep up the good work. Keep on changing lives. See you all soon again!
