AMOpportunities is honored to be named 2022’s PIEoneer of the year winner. The announcement came earlier this month at The PIEoneer of the Year Awards ceremony in London, England. The PIE News released a formal announcement earlier this week.

It is an honor to receive the award, and we are humbled by the progress it represents in our mission to reduce barriers to clinical access training. A worsening shortage of healthcare workers requires expanded clinical training capacity and improved access to clinical training. AMO works with hospitals and clinical sites; medical, DO, PA, and nursing schools; and with individual medical trainees to ensure the medical training shortage is addressed from all sides.

AMO CEO and co-founder Kyle Swinsky shared in response to the award: “AMO is on a mission to democratize clinical education globally. We are humbled when this access problem we are solving gets attention.”

At AMO, we are proud of the progress we have made. We are also grateful for the recognition this award grants to that progress. However, we know there is still a long way to go.

If you are interested in joining the mission of solving the physician shortage by reducing barriers to clinical training access, we’d love to hear from you!
