This month, AMOpportunities won the University of Chicago’s New Venture Challenge. A total of 11 completed in the NVC; finalists were chosen from a pool of 32 teams.

Launched in 1996, the NVC is one of the top-ranked accelerator programs in the United States. Past winners include GrubHub, Simple Mills and Braintree/Venmo. To compete in the program, a University of Chicago graduate student must be on board with a project with at least 10 percent equity stake. Only University of Chicago students are allow to present at the finals.

Since launching in 2013, we’ve helped more than 1,200 students from around the world find clinical rotations across the United States in hundreds of different hospitals and clinics.
