This year, the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is heading to Washington D.C. for their Future Physicians for Change Conference (FP4C) from May 30 through June 1.

While the conference is open to medical students and physicians from around the world, a three day conference may feel too short for medical students traveling from outside the U.S. and hoping to attend.

For students looking for an extra incentive before planning their trip to Washington D.C., AMopportunities and AMSA have teamed up to help enhance your trip to AMSA’s Future Physicians for Change Conference with two week clinical rotation opportunities.

Your Dream Away Rotation

While the conference will prepare students to become physicians who advocate for policies and practices that better the healthcare community, AMOpportunities’ two-week clinical rotations give you a chance to experience the U.S. healthcare system first-hand, either giving you a context before the conference or supporting your learning after.

The two-week rotations are exclusive to AMSA FP4C attendees and are available across AMO’s more than 350 clinical sites and in more than 70 specialties.

Once you’ve registered for the AMSA Future Physicians for Change Conference, you can easily claim one of the 30 seats available in AMO’s rotations. First you’ll connect with AMO Advisor Ryan by using this link. Then be prepared to make two decisions.

1) When Will You Rotate

First, you will have to decide if you would like to do your two-week rotation before or after the conference.

Pre-conference rotations run from May 13-24.

Post-conference rotations are from June 3-14.

2) Where Will You Rotate (and in What Specialty)

You will also have to decide which location and specialty you want to do your rotation in. With sites across the U.S. and in over 70 specialties, the choice is truly yours.

How to Reserve

With only 30 spots available, you’ll want to act fast. Connect with AMO Advisor Ryan to choose your program and reserve your spot.

And enjoy the conference!
